Thanks to the rich history and experience trade in Morocco, its cuisines are possibly the best in North Africa. For several centuries, Morocco has been the crossroads of several civilizations and a blend of various cultural influences, like, Berber, Arab, Moorish, Jewish, French, Iberian, Mediterranean African, Middle Eastern, and much more. All these cultures have mixed, which has resulted in rich Moroccan Cuisine.

Itinerary

Day 1

Casablanca Airport – Rabat

After arriving at Casablanca Airport, an English Speaking driver will greet you and you will be taken for a tour of “The White City”, which is the financial, commercial, and manufacturing center of the country. This tour will compromise a visit to the very famous big Hassan II Mosque from outside. The mosque is a major religious structure in Africa. Drive along the wide boulevards, United Nations Square, the residential area of Anfa, and Ain Diab corniche. Take a high way to reach Rabat within 1Hour. Have your dinner and overnight stay in your hotel.

Day 2

Rabat – Meknes – Volubilis – Fes

After breakfast at the hotel, you will be taken for a city tour of Rabat, which is the capital of Morocco. On your tour, you will get to see remarkable housings for ministries and foreign delegations. You will also get to see the graceful Mohammed V Mausoleum and Kasbah of the Oudayas. After this, you will be taken to Fez where you will stop at Meknes and can have optional lunch. Next, visit the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis and move to the Roman Empire. Later, you continue your journey to Fez where you can have your dinner and stay overnight in the hotel.

Day 3

Fes – Souk Tasting food in the Medina & City Tour

Morning, Souk Tasting Trail experience will allow you to visit distinctive food souks and attempt Moroccan conventional road food including dried meats, zesty potato, cakes, soups, olives and that's only the tip of the iceberg. At the honey Souk, taste a variety of various sorts of honey; examine their flavors and recuperating properties, and where they are utilized as a cooking constituent and natural medication. Visit Furnatchi, the common public bath, and “Faran” the regular open broiler. Explore the privileged insights of the male-oriented area of the tea under the direction of a culinary pioneer and narrator. In the afternoon, you will be taken for a guided city tour of Fez. Fez was established in the 8th century and was the first capital of Morocco. In the present times, it is an academic, pious, and cultural center. Once in Fez, you will get to visit the medieval Medina, which is the religious Islamic centers and university specifically the Medersa, the Karaouine Mosque and University, and the Nejjarin Fountain. Afterward, you will visit the Tanneries and you can also shop. You will have dinner at the Moroccan Palace with a beautiful view. Here, you can have the Fasi food after which, you can return to your hotel for overnight.

Day 4

Fez – Midelt – Erfoud – Merzouga Sand Dunes

After breakfast at the hotel, you will be taken towards Merzouga. On this journey, you will pass through Berber villages, never-ending date palm farms, and the regal Atlas Mountains. You can have an optional lunch at Midelt before continuing towards Erfoud which famous for date festival and Marble Industry. After this, explore the desert dunes of the Sahara, mint tea and local cookies will welcome you. Now is the time to sit on the camels’ back, and trek into the wonderful, huge, and quiet Sahara, where you can enjoy a beautiful sunset. The beautiful sunset will look majestic and the beautiful view will be a new experience for you. Afterward, return to your camp for a traditional meal and spend the night in your tented camp.

Day 5

Ouarzazate – Road of thousand Kasbahs

After breakfast, progress towards Ouarzazate that used to be a stopping point for African consignments getting to other Moroccan cities and Europe. Driving through the range of High Atlas mountains southern slopes, stop at Dades Valley, where you will see some irrigation canals and palm trees. You can also see El Kelaa, (Roses Festival in May) while traveling along the “Road of a Thousand Kasbahs” to Ouarzazate. Afterward, have dinner and stay overnight in your hotel.

Day 6

Ouarzazate – Marrakech

After breakfast, start the tour of Ouarzazate, which the French built as a garrison and administrative center in the 1920s. Today this city is the chief access point and crossroads of the south famous for its pottery and carpets. Visit Taourirt Kasbah, a magnificent 17th-century castle once a residence of EL Glaoui Pacha. From here, you can have a scenic view of the valley of Ouarzazate and the vast Atlas Mountains. You will visit Aït Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and abode of the area’s most interesting kasbahs, some of which have been presented in renowned films, comprising Lawrence of Arabia and Gladiator and Games of Thrones. Progress towards back to Marrakech crossing the Tichka pass and the spectacular High Atlas Mountains. Admire the wonderful visions, daily life in rural villages and towns, and reach the captivating “Red City” of Marrakech, where you will have a beautiful tour and get to visit the Jemaa El Fna Square the beating heart of Marrakech. Have dinner and stay overnight in the hotel.

Day 7

Marrakech – Visit of culinary school & city tour

After breakfast at the hotel, visit a Culinary school in Marrakech an institute focused on the Education of Art and Science of Cooking. There are numerous diverse kinds of cooking schools around the world, some dedicated to training professional chefs, others for cooking buffs, with some being a mixture of the two. Next, take a city tour of Marrakech, which is the second Imperial city in Morocco after Fez. Marrakech is also known as The Red City and was established in the late 12th century by the Almoravides dynasty. You will start your tour by visiting the captivating sites of Marrakech, as the vibrant markets in the medina, Koutoubia Mosque, the colorful souks in the medina, and the delightful Bahia Palace. All these places are still undamaged and stand in their glory, with their bright medleys, engraved woodwork, and beautiful marbles. Visit the well-known Djemaa El Fna Square with its enduring show of magicians, folktale, snake charmers, fortune-tellers, storytellers, and much more. Afterward, we invite you to have dinner at a nice restaurant owned by a professional cook who creates dishes by a different blend of traditional and modern cooking. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 8

Day Trip to Essaouira

After breakfast at the hotel, progress towards Essaouira on the Atlantic Coast. On your drive, you will find goats on the Argan tree looking for food. Visit the Meskala Female Cooperative Goat Breeding and Goat Cheese Production. The cooperative yields cheeses from local goats, which is supplied to several restaurants and hotels in Essaouira. Next, stop at an Argan Oil cooperative. The Argan Tree is a type of flowering plant, which only grows in southern Morocco The oil from this tree, due to its aesthetic and cooking benefits is in huge demand all over the World. You will also get to visit the busy fish market and the battlements and bastions where Othello was filmed. You can have an optional lunch of fish at a local restaurant before visiting the outstanding factories which sell locally imprinted and polished thuya wood products. After lunch, relax on the golden beach for a while before returning to Marrakech. Have dinner and stay overnight in the hotel.

Day 9

Marrakech – Cooking class & visit of the gardens

A.M: Cooking Class + Lunch in High Gastronomic Restaurant or at a guest house in the heart of the medina Private cooking class: The head chef will have a tea ceremony Master class in making Tagine The school has various workstations, all armed with a closed-circuit screen, which ensures that the members do not miss anything. The classes are hosted by dadas, who have been sharing their cooking secrets with guests over the years. P.M: Visit of gardens by Horse Carriage Marrakech is popular for its exceptional gardens, which offer an escape from the commotion of the Souks. In the afternoon, have a visit to the beautiful gardens of Marrakech you may choose horse carriages. First, start with the visit to Menara Gardens and Majorelle Gardens. The well-known Majorelle Gardens were created in 1923by French artist Jacques Majorelle. In the evening, you will get to a nice restaurant where you can have a wide range of Moroccan and international cuisine. You will be entertained by several shows by fire eaters and belly dancers. After dinner, return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 10

Marrakech Airport – Departure

After breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to Marrakech airport as per your flight schedule.
